Each fellow will be evaluated at the completion of each rotation by the faculty with whom he/she worked, and each fellow will evaluate the particular rotation and each faculty member of that rotation for their teaching performance. These written evaluations are submitted through an on-line web-based system administered by the departmental graduate medical education office. The Program Director provides feedback to each fellow and to the Chief of the faculty members. In addition, the Program Director and Co-Director will hold quarterly meetings with the fellows for feedback on the overall program. There is also a clinical competence committee for the fellowship to evaluate each fellow's progress and progressive responsibility. The fellow is also evaluated based on conference presentations and performance on the in-service examination (PEC exam by the ASC, administered 3 times per year).
